NDU Officers Briefed on GB’s Governance
SKARDU: Governance challenges, institutional strengths and development opportunities in Gilgit-Baltistan came under discussion during briefings for National Defence University (NDU) Course 2026–27, delivered by Secretary Forest, Wildlife and Environment Sibtain Ahmad.
The briefings were held on October 23 for Bravo Group, comprising 105 officers, and October 24 for Alpha Group, comprising 88 officers from the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy and Civil Services.
Commander FCNA and Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan also attended the sessions and participated in interactive discussions on the region’s distinctive governance dynamics, strategic significance, challenges and development potential.
